Hall of Fame: Celebrating Women

In addition to Sally RideAmelia EarhartJackie Cochran, Bessie ColemanKatherine Stinson and Fran Bera (mentioned earlier in this online exhibit) several other prominent women have been inducted into the Museum's International Air & Space Hall of Fame.  Please click on the Lins to find out more:

The 99s were inducted into the Museum's International Air and Space Hall of Fame in 2014. Click here to find out more and view a video about them.

Olive Beech, famous for turning Beechcraft airplanes so successful, was inducted in 1995.

Martha King, along with her Husband John, were inducted in the Hall of Fame in 2008.  They revolutionized flight training with their King Schools.

One of the best aerobatic pilots to ever take to the sky, Patty Wagstaff, was inducted in 2007.

Record breaker and the winner of the first All Women's Derby, Louise Thaden, was inducted in 1999.
