Mission Control Bus

The San Diego Air & Space Museum launched its mobile classroom, Mission Control, in 2023 to bring STEM education directly to children across San Diego County. Equipped with state-of-the-art technology and an innovative curriculum, Museum educators provide young learners with the tools to explore, innovate and create, serving up to 30 students on board during a single session.

Thanks to the generosity of these donors, Mission Control plays a vital role in offering hands-on learning experiences that engage both students and educators alike:

  • Si Robin Foundation
  • Conrad Prebys Foundation
  • Dr. Seuss Foundation
  • Walter & Betty Zable Foundation
  • Samuel & Katherine French Fund
  • County of San Diego
  • Capital CNG

Their generous support allows the Museum to offer a wide range of STEM programs at the accessible prices shown below. Scholarships are also available to Title 1 schools and special education classes in San Diego County, with a limit of six per school.

All made possible through their vision for a better San Diego! Thank you.

Max of 30 students and 2 teachers or 32 humans aboard.
