Christmas

It is the most wonderful time of the year, and these are the most wonderful Christmas images you will ever see.

This World War One era Christmas card from the Richard Denbo collection conveys hope of a quick homecoming.

Santa appears to have enjoyed the holiday a little too much in this card from the Robert Goetz album.

A flying boat drops Santa off at the Fleet Air Base near the Panama Canal in this postcard from the George Down collection.

Famed aviator Bob Hoover wishes you a Merry Christmas in this card from his early days in the service.

In this image from the Atlas Negative collection, employees of Convair Astronautics have created a toy drive for needy San Diego area families.  This image is from Christmas, 1959.

In another image from the Atlas Negative collection, we see the lobby of the Convair Astronautics Facility in Kearny Mesa boasting the largest flocked Christmas tree ever!

Rare image of the time Santa attempted to upgrade his ride by attempting to attach an Atlas missile to it.

It appears as if Santa's sleigh was in the shop, and he had to catch a commercial flight as shown in this image from our PSA collection.

Christmas at sea is described as described by J.D. Shelton!

Even the Red Rippers of VF-11 were not immune from the Christmas Spirit, as they dressed their traditional logo on their F-14s as Santa.
