Artist George Akimoto passed away on May 20, 2010 in his house in Stockton, California at the age of 87.  Artistic life achievements of George Akimoto are in the series of his humorous comics’ drawings, illustrations and movie posters.  Remarkable portraits and Aviation art by George Akimoto are proudly preserved and presented by San Diego Air & Space Museum for aerospace enthusiasts to enjoy for many generations to come.
