The Museum will not be participating in Resident Free Tuesday in January. Be sure to join us in February!
The Wright Brothers made the first controlled, sustained flight of an engine-powered, heavier-than-air aircraft on December 17th, 1903. As such, they are widely credited as being the first humans to build and fly a successful airplane. Although their famous flight took place over 120 years ago, their legacy is widely felt at our Museum. This exhibit will look at some of the aircraft, objects and archival material related to the Wright Brothers that are housed in our Museum.
