The Museum will be closing early on November 8th for our International Hall of Fame Celebration. Final admission will be at 2:30pm with the Museum closing at 3pm.

Wernher von Braun, designer of most of NASA’s manned space rockets of the 1960s, congratulates Schirra on his Gemini 6 flight, where he performed the first space rendezvous.
Vice President Humphrey also congratulated Schirra on this milestone in space history, in two separate messages.
