A Horse of Course: Hanging with Stars

Horses love to be around the rich and famous.  Here some horses mingle with the notables.

Famous aviator Charles Lindbergh was a big fan of horses! 

 

Aviatrix Pancho Barnes is seen with one of her horses on her ranch.

Josephine Callaghan was "horsewoman" and a stunt pilot who did not have arms.

Bob Hoover was widely regarded as one of the hottest pilots around.

Frank Clark was a stunt pilot who worked in movies during the early days of Hollywood.

Helen Richey (1909 – 1947) was a pioneering female aviator and the first woman to be hired as a pilot by a commercial airline in the United States.
