Major Oscar Perdomo flew a P-47 Thunderbolt with the 464th fighter squadron, 507th fighter Group USAAF in the Pacific Theater, where he became the last “Ace in a Day” of WWII.
Pacific Southwest Airlines was founded and based in San Diego. This artificial collection is composed of materials that were donated to the San Diego Air & Space Museum over a period of years by multiple donors who had been involved with PSA.
Parker H. Jackson was the biographer Richard S. Requa, the master architect of the California Pacific International Exposition in 1935.
Paul Fedelchak served as an aerial photographer in the USAAC from 1939.
Paul H. Hebner, born in Alameda, California in 1956, graduated from New York University in 1988. He has been a professional writer for 32 years. He is the son of a U.S. Navy aviator/crewmember on a Martin Mariner PBM-5 flying boat who served during the Korean conflict.
