Manage the Museum’s donor relations program and fundraising initiatives, working closely with the President/CEO. Responsible for developing and implementing fundraising campaigns and communicating with current and prospective donors. Manage individual and corporate gifts as well as planned and annual giving campaigns. Lead grant research, writing and reporting while working with department heads to identify Museum’s needs. The San Diego Air & Space Museum (SDASM) recognizes that our staff are our greatest asset. We are seeking an experienced human resource professional to join our team to fill the first H/R position within the organization. The Human Resources Generalist will be responsible for proposing human resource policies and coordinating human resource activities including recruitment, screening, interviewing, onboarding, training, benefits and labor-law compliance. This position will assist the museum in developing a world-class, customer-centric, engaged and diverse team of staff and volunteers. Comprehensive knowledge of human resources law and practice is required.
