Halloween Family Day

back to articles

Come to the San Diego Air & Space Museum on Saturday, October 26, 2013 for our annual Halloween pumpkin drop! See what happens when two pumpkins are dropped from our roof --- one with a parachute and one without. Will they survive?! Drops are at 2:30pm, with more fun beforehand! Make ghost rotors (paper helicopters with a Halloween twist) in the education center at 11:30, 12:30, and 1:30 and watch them in the sky! Kids 12 and under are FREE with a paid adult admission. Does not include special exhibitions. Kids FREE into the 3D/4D theater to see kid-friendly movies. Discount admission to our special exhibition “Ripley's Believe It or Not!"

The Museum’s Halloween Family Day is part of a Balboa Park-wide event happening that day. For more information, please visit the Balboa Park website.

This year's Halloween Family Day is made possible with generous sponsorship from Time Warner Cable in honor of "Kids Free October."

To see what happened to our pumpkin last year with a parachute and without a parachute, watch the videos!
