Although the division was based in San Diego, California, Convair Astonautics employees had to work across the country. The following photographs on this exhibit page highlight a local celebration on July 26th, 1960 outside of Cheyenne, Wyoming, where Convair Astronautics employees worked with Atlas-D rocket installations at F.E. Warren U.S. Air Force Base.
