This collection contains menus for flights from Paris to Los Angeles and Buenos Aires to Paris. They feature food, artwork, commemorations to the storming of the Bastille, and models of different of aircraft.
This collection primarily includes mail pieces with air mail markings and stamps. Some letters and photographs are included. This collection is stored in four archival banker’s boxes, measuring 15” x 12” x 10”.
The collection contains various airline luggage labels and related stickers and baggage tags from international airlines representing North and South America, Australia, Asia and Europe.
Born in Los Angeles in 1897, Albert S. Menasco was a key figure in the design of airplane engines in the years between the two World Wars. This collection documents his life and his products.
The collection contains items reflecting the life and career of Alfred Ney, including documents, drawings, and photographs. Ney worked for Packard, Convair and Bendix, among others.
