This collection contains material related to the lives of Morten Jorgensen Sr. and Jr. Mort Sr. worked at Ostergaard Aircraft as a general aircraft mechanic, while his son worked at Convair and served as surgical support on recovery carriers for the Apollo Space Program.
This collection consists of one archival box, containing assorted Air Force pamphlets, newspaper articles, magazine articles, photographs, playing cards, among other various artifacts from Weill’s career.
Joseph H. Famme, an engineer and manufacturing executive, helped develop a variety of military and commercial aircraft for General Dynamics/Convair and its predecessor organizations since 1936.
Joseph Dunkel was a veteran daredevil parachutist and pilot, flying various aircraft from gliders to four-engine bombers. He made what is perhaps the earliest known reference to an attempt at a stratospheric jump.
The collection contains materials related to career and inventions of J.J. Szakacs. This includes documents, textbooks, patent information, sketchbooks, and photographs.
