Joseph H. Famme Personal Papers

Joseph H. Famme, an engineer and manufacturing executive, who helped develop a variety of military and commercial aircraft for General Dynamics/Convair and its predecessor organizations since 1936. The collection was donated by The Convair Alumni Association Restoration Group at Gillespie Field in April 2006 and consists of engineering proposals, reports, correspondences, photographs, newspaper clippings, and other documents pertaining to the design of major Convair models such as the B-24, XB-46, F-102, F-106, Convair-liners and 880 jet transport.
