Now open, Be the Astronaut is a fun, interactive adventure where you are in control as you launch a rocket, pilot a spaceship, and drive a rover in space!
Experience yesterday’s real “Space Cowboys” and meet today’s trailblazers as they share their vision of the Final Frontier. Join us for an exciting evening highlighting the Apollo and Space Shuttle programs, and for a glimpse into the future of space exploration. Apollo 16 is considered by many one of the high points of space exploration and one of the most ambitious scientific expeditions ever!
The San Diego Air & Space Museum offers a variety of half-day, week-long summer programs. These classes teach air and space history and science through hands-on activities such as designing and building model airplanes, launching model rockets, and flying simulators.
Please save the date for the San Diego Air & Space Museum’s 34th Annual Charity Golf Tournament at Coronado Municipal Golf Course on Wednesday, August 9, 2017. The annual tournament helps us provide quality educational experiences to local San Diego students through scholarships, exhibits, classes and outreach.
