“Fightertown” Launch Party & Trivia Night at Mike Hess Brewing (Friday June 20)
On June 20, the San Diego Air & Space Museum is unveiling “Fightertown”, our exclusive beer collaboration with San Diego’s Mike Hess Brewing. Experience the first pour and a special San Diego Air & Space Museum Trivia Night at Mike Hess Brewing in North Park, one San Diego’s iconic neighborhoods.
“Minecraft” Movie Night (Saturday July 26)
Join us for “Minecraft” Movie Night at the San Diego Air & Space Museum in Balboa Park! Enjoy an evening of pixel-powered fun and discover how the same skills used to build worlds in Minecraft – problem-solving, creativity and design development – are used by real-world pilots, astronauts and engineers.
“High Flying Summer” also includes admission to Da Vinci’s First Flight, a groundbreaking special exhibition making its world premiere at the Museum. Guests will discover the incredible story of Zoroastro of Peretola, a young apprentice who may have been history’s first test pilot for Leonardo da Vinci’s visionary flying machines

The San Diego Air & Space Museum is California’s official air and space museum and education center. The Museum is an affiliate of the Smithsonian Institution and was the first aero-themed Museum to be accredited by the American Alliance of Museums. The Museum was voted the top Aviation Museum in California and one of the “10 Best Aviation Museum’s Around the U.S.” The Museum also is home to the prestigious International Air & Space Hall of Fame.
