This annual day of serious – and not so serious -- golf raises funds for the Museum’s vital STEM education program
Join us as we celebrate 60 years of “Preserving, Inspiring, Educating and Celebrating” all the wonders of air and space
San Diego, Calif. – As we celebrate 60 years of “Preserving, Inspiring, Educating and Celebrating” all the wonders of air and space, we invite you to take join us for a long-standing San Diego Air & Space Museum tradition - our 39th Annual Charity Golf Tournament at the Admiral Baker Golf Club on Tuesday, November 7.
In light of a hotter than normal summer, the golf Committee moved the Museum’s 39th Annual Charity Golf Tournament to November 7, 2023. Occasionally the Mission Gorge area can heat up beyond comfort for some and we were able to change the date with no change to our format and without penalty. Thanks to each of you who’ve already signed up…and those getting ready to do so. See you on the course!
The tournament honors our longtime dear friend and Board Member Dick Lareau. Dick was the Chief Pilot of our golf tournament for years past. We honor Dick’s selfless dedication and contributions to make this annual tournament a fun-raiser!
Our goal is to raise funds for the Museum’s vital STEM education programs (Science, Technology, Engineering and Math). The Museum has nine Aerosummer classes for K-12th grades running from mid-July to mid-August. The camps include fun activities like building gliders, soaring kites, building flying cars, launching rockets, and flying planes in our simulators! You will help our youth excel in the fields of STEM.
We hope you’ll join us for a fun and exciting day of golf celebrating Dick Lareau's legacy of giving back on Tuesday November 7, 2023. Thank you. We couldn’t do this without you!
