The Goodyear Blimp, celebrating 100 years as an icon in the skies above countless cultural and historic events, Pete Bunce, former President & CEO of the General Aviation Manufacturers Association (GAMA), “Flight of the Grumman Cats (Cat Flight),” legendary fighter aircraft produced by Grumman, and Jack Pelton, Chairman and CEO of EAA and a leader throughout the aviation community for decades, to be honored at the annual star-studded International Air & Space Hall of Fame gala Saturday Nov. 8.

The always-enjoyable Open Hangar Day opportunities include activities for kids of all ages, Docent-led tours, and up-close and personal looks at the Museum’s fascinating world class restoration projects.
The innovative Mission Control mobile classroom dramatically increases the Museum’s STEM outreach and drives educational programming in parts of our community where the need is most critical.
The Museum’s site in El Cajon serves as an additional exhibit space for our growing collection, a storage and restoration facility, and is also available for third party special events in a rare, spectacular setting for that important aviation enthusiast in your life.
