The San Diego Air & Space Museum is proud to announce the launch of Fightertown, a bold new collaboration with Mike Hess Brewing inspired by the rich legacy of naval aviation in San Diego. Named in honor of NAS Miramar—once known as “Fightertown USA”—this one-of-a-kind craft lager salutes the pilots, crews, and aircraft that have defined military aviation history.

The beer will make its debut during the Museum’s Legacy of Apollo gala on Saturday, May 31. Following the event, Fightertown will be available at the Flight Path Grill at the Museum.

To celebrate the public launch, the Museum and Mike Hess Brewing are hosting an Air & Space Trivia Night on Friday, June 20 at the Mike Hess North Park location. Guests are invited to compete for Museum-themed prizes, enjoy Fightertown on tap, and experience a night of aviation-fueled fun starting at 7 p.m. Sign-ups will be available in person prior to the start of the event.

More details about Fightertown availability, pricing, and future collaborations will be announced soon.
