The San Diego Air & Space Museum’s Education Department is working overtime this summer to offer new and exciting ways for explorers of all ages to learn about all things space and to stay connected to the latest offerings in science, technology, engineering and math.

Throughout the summer, the Museum will be offering “Little Engineers, When I Grow Up,” a STEM based-learning program meant to encourage young minds to pursue a future in aviation and space exploration technologies. Little Engineers takes place Wednesday mornings from 9:00 to 10:00 am with hands-on activities, dynamic peer interactions, and museum exploration. Cost is $22 per caregiver/child pair. Choose from careers such as farmer, archeologist, doctor, astronaut and more.to sign up, click here

The Webb Telescope, one of NASA’s latest and greatest innovations, has been in the news a lot late. NASA launched their space telescope to conduct infrared astronomical observations. We invite you to the museum’s Education team on July 12, 2022 from 10 am to 2 pm for a look at the first images from the Webb Telescope, learn how to launch a rocket, and visit our new GALILEO: Space Visionary and SPACE: Our Greatest Adventure exhibits.
