In partnership with NASA, the San Diego Air & Space Museum is sponsoring STEM Career Festivals at two local libraries where students in Grades 4 through 8 can “Discover Your Place in Space” through hands-on activities just like they would at actual NASA jobs.

Hands-on activities include rocket building, making pigs fly, robotics, 3D pens, simple circuits, and many more.

The STEM Space Career Festivals include raffle prizes, snacks, and take home supplies for students.

The first STEM Space Career Festival takes place on Tuesday May 13 from 5 to 7 p.m. at the Valencia Park/Malcolm X Branch Library located at 5148 Market Street, San Diego, CA 92114.

The second STEM Space Career Festival is on Tuesday May 20 from 5 to 7 p.m. at the San Ysidro Public Library located at 4235 Beyer Blvd., San Diego, CA 92173.

Join us for an evening of fun at your local library and find your next career!
