Join us for a summer of fun at Aerospace Summer Camp
Camp combines hands-on learning with mentor exploration to create an immersive, inclusive STEM experience. Each day, students will tackle hands-on engineering and design challenges allowing them to be creative, innovative and have fun. We serve students from TK-12th grade. Space Day Set for May 21
Come out to the museum to experience all things Space on May 21, 2022 from 10 am to 2 pm. Visit the astrophysics corner with student led projects on galaxies, launch rockets, look at the sun through telescopes, and visit with our community partners. Free giveaways.
Invited Presenters include NASA, JPL, Sally Ride Science, Northrop Grumman, SETI, Lockheed Martin, El Trompo Museo Interactivo, San Diego Astronomy Association, UCSD Near-Space Balloon, General Atomics, The Planetary Society, FIRST Robotics, and many others.
The Museum’s unique “SPACE: Our Greatest Adventure” is also open for viewing throughout the event, including the authentic Apollo 9 Command Module, moon rocks, space suits, a Mars rover and more. The new “GALILEO: Space Visionary” special exhibition exploring explores the secrets of The Father of Modern Science and his groundbreaking visions through interactive experiments also is included with admission.
