Robert Redd was born in Cincinnati, Ohio. After serving in the United States Army in Washington, D.C., he joined American Airlines and soon relocated in California. He was with American Airlines for 38 years and retired as Regional Managing Director, Customer Services. His career with American included managerial positions in customer services, passenger sales and marketing, and was a director of regional airport operations. He joined the Board while serving as Regional Sales Manager, Southern California for American. After retiring, he was selected as consultant to American serving as a hearing officer for employee arbitration cases. Mr. Redd served for five years on the Board of the Old Globe Theater, The Mission Valley YMCA, and is currently the Board Vice President of the San Diego Model Railroad Museum in Balboa Park. Mr. Redd holds a Bachelor of Science degree in business administration from the University of San Francisco. He is a member of the audit committee and serves as chairman of the Museum’s Golf Committee.
