Due to work by the city inside the building we will be opening at 1230pm on our Resident's Free Tuesday on May 14th.
Little information has been found about Louis M. Lowry, save that he graduated from Parachute Riggers School at Chanute Field at Rantoul, Illinois in 1931. He then went on to work for North American Rockwell Corporation from 1943 to 1969. The collection contains documents and images of various sizes. The documents are arranged chronologically and the images are organized by SDASM digital item number. The documents consist primarily of certificates presented to Louis Lowry during his military service and civilian career. The images consist primarily of black and white photographs of 1920’s biplanes and aviators, and of color snapshots of radio telescopes circa 1975.
