Clurman Bibb had an extensive career in California, working at North American Aviation, Ryan Aeronautical, Northrop Aircraft, and Douglas Aircraft for over thirty years. The majority of his work involved project, design, and research engineering, especially for cockpit and cabin interior design, furnishings and equipment installation, mechanical design problems in aircraft, and human factors and human engineering studies. He wrote procedures, designed engine maintenance, and supervised equipment installation.
