Sustainable living, a mission The San Diego Air & Space Museum is dedicated to spreading awareness. Over the last year the museum had a vision of implementing an edible garden in the Pavilion of Flight. This garden would serve as a learning tool and a visual to show our community that sustainable living is possible even in the most unique situations. Under the direction of Tina @tinagrowsthings, Airam @itsthymetogarden, Cass @gardentotablewithcass and @sandiegoseedswap afternoon crew of volunteers, the museum’s vision came to fruition. With a thriving garden in place we felt the need to celebrate! The Museum will be hosting a special “Refuel + Cultivate: Urban Sips & Garden Tips” experience on Friday, Oct. 8th from 6:30 to 10:00 p.m. in the Museum’s Pavilion of Flight.
The Museum is partnering with Epic Gardening and Feeding San Diego (“Ending Hunger Through Food Rescue”) for this one-of-a-kind event. Learn more at @epicgardening and @feedingsandiego.

The San Diego Air & Space Museum is donating a portion of the proceeds for event ticket sales to benefit Feeding San Diego’s mission to Cross Out Hunger!
