Due to an unexpected last-minute change in our honorees’ availability, the San Diego Air & Space Museum has made the difficult decision to cancel Beach Blanket Blastoff, originally scheduled for Saturday, June 13.

We were looking forward to celebrating this special evening with our supporters, honoring aviation legends Seymour “Si” Robin and Clay Lacy, and commemorating America’s 250th anniversary through a unique retro Space Age experience.

While we are disappointed that the event will no longer take place as planned, we remain deeply grateful for the enthusiasm, support, and excitement surrounding the celebration. The Museum remains committed to recognizing the extraordinary contributions of these aviation pioneers and to supporting the future of STEM education through our ongoing programs and initiatives.
