Following San Diego County Public Health Authority guidance the Museum will be temporarily closed starting July 7, 2020.
The Museum has been working on a three-year grant project, funded by IMLS, to inventory, photograph, and catalog its vast collections. During this project, many hidden treasures have been uncovered and will be shared with the public through a weekly artifact spotlight. This week’s artifact is a “short snorter” signed by many notable members of the Distinguished Flying Cross Society, including Joe Foss and Charles Lindbergh.
