The Salute honors active-duty military members, their families and veterans of the U.S. Navy on its 250th Birthday. The Museum is opening early at 9:30 a.m. and admission is free for ALL active-duty military and their families, members of the reserve and National Guard, and veterans.
The San Diego Air & Space Museum is remembering Jim Lovell, the Commander of the famed Apollo 13 mission and Command Module Pilot on the historic Apollo 8 mission in December 1968.
