The San Diego Air & Space Museum welcomes you to visit. We have something for the entire family. The Museum is widely accessible to our visitors with disabilities. Non-commercial photography and video recording are permitted in the Museum. Commercial photography is not allowed without the written consent of the San Diego Air & Space Museum. To arrange a commercial photo or video recording session please contact the Museum at 619.234.8291 ext. 140.
Special exhibitions require an additional charge on Resident Free Days. Also, the Kid’s Aviation Action Hangar is closed and the 3D/4D Zable Theater will be an additional charge on Resident Free Days. The San Diego Air & Space Museum is free the 4th Tuesday of every month except December to San Diego County Residents, San Diego County College Students, Active Duty Military and their dependents. You must show a valid ID to receive free admission.
The museum will be free and open to the public for the two-day Balboa Park-wide event " December Nights ," accordingly the museum will not be free to San Diego residents on the fourth Tuesday in December. The museum will not be observing Residents Free Tuesday on December 25th, 2018.
