Original Bullitt Mustang Driven by Steve McQueen SPEED Grand Finale

A once-in-a-lifetime opportunity is now happening at the San Diego Air & Space Museum! The owner of the Bullitt car, Sean Kiernan, has loaned his Highland Green 1968 Ford Mustang GT fastback to the SPEED: Science in Motion exhibit! This is huge and a great Grand Finale for the SPEED exhibit!

This is THE Bullitt Mustang Steve McQueen raced up and down the streets of San Francisco during the movie Bullitt – 50 years ago – one of the most iconic car chase scenes in American cinematic history.

You’re invited to a VIP Reception on the evening of Thursday, November 15 with Sean speaking about the car, how he got it, where it’s been, and what it means as a significant contribution to car fans everywhere. Plus you’ll see Ford’s newest 2019 Bullitt Mustang as well as a 1968 Dodge Charger like the one in the chase scene with the Bullitt!

Come and see THE car that made history - only the 21st car to be inducted into the Historic Vehicle Association.
