In keeping with its mission to inspire and educate, the San Diego Air & Space Museum will be hosting a special Facebook Live Event on July 17 beginning at 11 a.m. with NASA’s Dr. Jenny R. Gruber.

Dr. Gruber is the Program Human Landing System Cross-Program Integration Lead for NASA’s Artemis team, which has been tasked with returning astronauts to the Moon by 2024, marking the first time humans have stepped onto the lunar surface since Apollo 17 in 1972.

The live event will feature a special presentation by Dr. Gruber about the Artemis program, followed by an informative question and answer period moderated by Museum President & CEO Jim Kidrick.
