Since its inception in 1963, the International Air & Space Hall of Fame at the San Diego Air & Space Museum has honored over 200 of our world’s most significant aviation pilots, crew members, visionaries, inventors, aerospace engineers, business leaders, designers, spokesmen and space pioneers. They have been celebrated for their significant contribution to the advancement of humankind in the field of air and space. They highlight the importance of technology and innovation. We also commemorate the endurance of our adventurous exploring spirit to accept great risk in the pursuit of increased knowledge and scientific advances to benefit the world. The Hall of Fame represents a compelling commemoration of those many greats, who throughout history and around the world have made a major difference and whose contributions are worthy of special recognition. This year the International Air & Space Museum takes place on Thursday, November 19. Join us in honoring those who have made an impact in the lives of others and are the examples for our next greatest generations to emulate.
