The San Diego Air & Space Museum will host its 13th Annual Space Day celebration on Saturday, May 14 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Space Day features demonstrations, giveaways, and hands-on activities with local and national space experts.
Aerosummer offers a variety of half-day, week-long programs teaching air and space history and science through hands-on activities such as designing and building model airplanes, launching model rockets, and flying simulators.

The San Diego Air & Space Museum’s Library & Archives collection has grown significantly, increasing 25 percent with the major donation late in 2015 of the Aerospace Education Center Collection.
New collection is the largest component of the surviving archive of the Vought Aircraft companies which designed and built the famous F4U Corsair, F8U Crusader and A-7 Corsair II.
