Interview with NASA SLS Engine Manager

Interview with NASA Engineer Johnny Heflin, the manager of the Liquid Engines Element in NASA’s Space Launch System (SLS) Program at the Marshall Space Flight Center in Huntsville, Alabama.

Mr. Heflin is responsible for all aspects of liquid engine implementation for SLS, including design, development, test, and flight of both the RS-25 core stage and RL10 upper stage engines. The SLS is the most powerful rocket ever developed and will be responsible for sending the first woman and next man to the Moon in 2024 during NASA’s Artemis program.
