Tyson McDowell


Tyson McDowell, a highly successful web based software developer, is currently president of Avadyne Health, as well as a member of their board of directors, and was co-founder of Benchmark Revenue Management in 2001. The companies merged in 2012. The innovative technology enabled company focuses on web based efficient patient customer service and hospital and physician revenue administration and management. He serves on the board of directors of Connect-San Diego, which supports startup and small business opportunities. Mr. McDowell is also a member of The Founder Institute, incubating the founding of 10 to 20 startup companies a year, as well as the Young Presidents Organization in San Diego. With a life-long passion for aviation, he began flying fixed wing aircraft when he was 12. He is now a private pilot with instrument, multi-engine and helicopter ratings. Mr. McDowell built and flies a Velocity XL RG kit airplane, operates and maintains an ex-Soviet L-39 Albatross Jet, and is an avid aerobatic pilot.
