Corky Mizer is founder and president of Corky’s Pest Control in San Marcos. Mr. Mizer started his company in 1967, and, at the time, it was one of the only pest control companies in the area. He is a pioneer in the industry because of his integrated treatment techniques, which factor in the uniqueness of the climate and terrain. He is so passionate about pest control that he employs a full-time plant pathologist. Mr. Mizer has written 11 books on pest control and pest control techniques. He has been an active member of the board of advisors for University of California Riverside’s College of Natural and Agricultural Sciences.
