You asked, we listened!

Fly Your Ride, everyone’s favorite middle school engineering competition, is switching things up. We’ve kept the basics the same: students in Southern California (grades 6-9) are invited to design, build and launch their own flying cars off of a giant ramp for the chance to win some fabulous cash prizes.

New for 2019: Creative minds can choose between entering the Drop and Roll category, where cars can jettison mass for an extra boost, or challenging their ingenuity with the Classic category. And as always, we love to reward innovation and risk taking: This year we’ve tripled the number of creativity prizes available!
