Captain Benjamin Cloud was a U.S. Navy pilot who worked in reconnaissance at various stages of his long career, including on the cusp of the Vietnam War.
Bernt Balchen was born in Norway and started flying in 1921, becoming a U.S. citizen in 1930. His accomplished career spanned 35 years, serving both the U.S. and Norwegian governments in cold-weather aviation.
Bill Hodges was the founder of the International Ryan Club and was the newsletter editor until his death. This collection contains information about Mr. Hodges, the Ryan Club and Ryan Aeronautical.
